Hi, my name is Fran and I have a Level 5 BTEC Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy with the Oxford School of Sports Massage (OSSM).
I am really passionate about helping people feel great and move more for longer. I have participated in a lot of sports and acitivities over the years, from dancing to rowing to half marathons to Tae Kwon Do. I understand sporting injuries and I also understand having tight and sore muscles from sitting at a desk all day!
I am First Aid and Mental Health First Aid qualified and I am a member of The Institue of Soft Tissue Therapists. I am fully insured to carry out treatments.
Communication is key. I need to know what you're feeling, experiencing and what you're looking to gain in order to best help you. In turn, I will explain the treatment and what you can expect to gain from it.
Massage is a hands-on and targeted tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, illness or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of massage can be life changing. Massage is for everyone of all abilities, not just athletes.
Deep Tissue Sports Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body. This massage is really targeted and is beneficial for athletes and those who sit for long periods of time.
The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.
Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle massage technique that uses light and rhythmic movements to help reduce swelling. It is an effective tool to help with bloating, water retention across the body and can be used pre and post operations.
